2. Share Your Artifacts, Photos, and Mementos With Us
If you have any photographs, genealogies, family trees, house/property research, newspaper articles, or publications pertaining to the Price Hill and its current or previous residents, we may be interested in them. Or, we could make copies of your items so you could keep them if you prefer.
We strongly encourage you to donate items such as diaries, journals, memorabilia, small tools, household items, and other artifacts to our collection; however, items contributed must be related to Price Hill. Storage space for large objects is limited
Items that have been formally accessioned into the collections cannot be returned to the donor or their descendents. At the end of the donation process, donors are asked to sign a an Instrument of Gift which legally transfers ownership of the materials, as well as all associated rights and interests, to the Society. Donations accepted by the Price Hill Historical Society & Museum are considered charitable contributions to a not-for-profit organization.
Our headquarters on Warsaw Avenue has a state-of-the-art security system, so your donations will be preserved for future generations to enjoy. Items may become part of our permanent or changing displays. They may also be made available to researchers who use our facilities.
